PROTECT CROPS FROM BIRDS

Minimize bird damage in vineyards, orchards, and other crops with Bird Gard’s bioacoustic technology:
- Crop losses due to bird damage can make the difference between being profitable and unprofitable
- Bird Gard products can protect your entire acreage
- Sophisticated multi-layered randomization keeps nuisance birds from getting used to Bird Gard stimuli
Starlings are one of the most prolific nuisance birds in agriculture. Their flock sizes can range from 10 to 100,000 or more. As per the USDA, starlings can consume up to 14 ounces of grapes per day. Undeterred, a flock of 1,000 birds can consume more than 13 tons of grapes per month. Blueberries, cherries, sweet corn, apples, peaches, figs, strawberries, and other crops are at extreme risk to starlings. (Cedar Waxwing Shown in photo)

From our customers...
“Our program has been doing berry crop research at OSU’s North Willamette Research and Extension Center since 1992. We have over 12 acres of berry trials. Individual experiments range in size from 1/3 to 1 acre. It’s very important for us to pick all the fruit produced, allowing for accurate measurements of treatment effects on yield. Bird control is thus very important. We have been using Bird Gard electronic bird control products for over ten years and have been very pleased with how we can successfully prevent bird depredation and how the company has worked with us to target specific species. Bird Gard is now the only electronic bird control product we use in our research trials!”
