Power options
Choose an AC power adapter with a 6-foot cord, or add a 5-watt solar panel kit — which includes a battery cable with clips at no extra charge and eliminates the need to periodically recharge a 12-volt battery. If you run the unit on battery power, a 12-volt group 27 battery with at least 100 amp hours is required and is not included.
About the sound card
The sound card on the Bird Gard Pro is factory-programmed and not field-updatable. You choose your configuration at checkout and the unit ships set for it. If you expect to change target species later, the Bird Gard Pro Plus supports updatable sounds.
